Ian Robertson Principal & Senior Planner, Inukshuk Planning & Development

Ian Robertson of Inukshuk Planning & Development is the former Chair of the Yukon Land Use Planning Council. He has been Regional Planning Director in Yukon and NWT and is northern Canada’s longest practising planner. Over a 42 year career Ian has been involved in all facets of community planning, regional development and land claim implementation.

Roy Sidders Planning Manager, Far North Branch, Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry

Roy Sidders has led the delivery of the joint land use planning process for the Far North of Ontario for the past 10 years. Roy was the planning team chairman for the first community based land use plan completed in the Far North of Ontario (the Whitefeather Forest Plan) and oversaw completion of three other plans. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry.
